HOPE Autism Welfare Society (HAWS) started its journey in 2008. It is engaged in education, care, development and rehabilitation of children with special needs, as well as empowering them and the families towards better inclusion. The services are available to children and individuals with social-communication and learning difficulties.  

HAWS works in line with the laws of the Government of Bangladesh. It is registered with the Directorate of Social Welfare, Ministry of Social Welfare under Societies Act. The registration number is Dha- 09650.  It is also registered with NGO Bureau of the Government of Bangladesh under registration no-3249.

HAWS runs HOPE Autism Bisheshayito Biddalay (HABB) to achieve its goal. Services of HABB are highly acclaimed at national and international level. 

Currently, more than 70 students are receiving intensive care from HABB. It has facilitators/ instructors who are well-trained in their own area of specialization, they work under the supervision of international experts. Its curriculum is arranged by individually prioritizing the goals of each child. HABB endeavors to support individuals and children with special needs to reach their fullest potential by focusing on their strengths and interests.
