Outing

Fear is usually common in all children. As a result many children with autism mostly stay behind the doors, there is a certain fear which can be noticed among them, about the world outside their home. Gradual exposure to fearful situations helps to overcome the fear. That’s why outing is very important for our students’ skill development.

They must be exposed to small challenges that exists among them and in the society. Hope Autism Bishesayito Biddaloy arranges outings every week at different places / settings so that the students can overcome these challenges. The outings include crossing roads, shopping in malls, eating own food, wearing dress by self, fixing buttons, using toilets, eating in restaurants, visiting playgrounds etc. These outings help the children to conquer the transition issue in terms of getting familiar with the world outside.
